Canvas Wrapping

Wrapping is the term used for how your canvas is stretched and wrapped around the frame. You can choose from 5 different types of wrapping for your canvas. These are mirror wrap, gallery wrap, colour wrap, white wrap and black wrap. Below is an example of each.

Wrap examples

Gallery wrap is by far the most popular type of wrapping we do but it is not always suitable for the image. Please take care when choosing your image if would like it gallery wrapped as some important details such as hands, eyes and feet etc would get wrapped around the edges. Try to have at least 2in of "free" space around the edges of your print if you decide to crop or resize them.

Mirror wrap is the next most popular wrap, this is where we copy the edge section of your print and use that for the sides. This gives a gallery wrap appearance without losing any of the image.

We can crop images for you to remove unwanted features or to make something more prominent but again please tell us in the notes section when you place your order.
